Ring with Us

Do you know your mallets from marts? Love to LV? Whether you're a lifelong handbell ringer or some other kind of musician looking for a new adventure, we invite you to join us. Joyful Sound is always looking for new ringers & subs to join our choir. Here are the basics to know if you're thinking about ringing with us:

We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings in Indianapolis.
Our season runs roughly August through May.
We perform 3-6 concerts each winter and spring.

If you're interested in ringing with us for the 2026 winter season, please plan to:

Demonstrate your interest and ability by participating in three consecutive rehearsals on August 17, 24, and 31 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
RSVP to Director Rhonda Blacklock at director@joyfulsound.info by August 15.

If you're not ready to join right now, but think you might be interested in the future, stay in touch! We'll share audition dates for future seasons as we schedule them, or you can always fill out the Contact Us form to connect with us; we'd be happy to invite you to a rehearsal so you can get to know us.
